The Turtle Society was started by a sister, Natalia, and a brother, Andrew who shared the love of the ocean and saving the environment through the form of fashion. Natalia Garibotto, an influencer with worldwide following had the idea of creating a bikini line for woman in 2021. Inspired by the beaches in Brazil and her second home, Natalia created every collection with the attitude of feeling sexy in your body while wearing eco friendly bathing suits. TurtleSwim was made a year later with Turtle (Andrew's nickname since childhood) using absolutely zero plastic and giving back to Turtle conservations. TheTurtle Society became a community of ocean lovers, who save the environment with each purchase. In 2022, we visited Careyes and had the beautiful gift of releasing turtles, since then we have partnered with CareyesFoundation to give a portion of our proceeds to spreading environmental awareness. Thanks to theestablishment of the Sea Turtle Protection & Conservation Center, around 2,000 sea turltesnest on Playa Teopa annually.
